EARTH TONES: CLASSIC, NATURAL & TIMELESS NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
My newborn sessions are all about using earth tones to create timeless, natural and organic newborn photography portraits. They're absolutely some of the finest colors and one of my favorite aesthetics with which to work. The texture, richness, and endless options are truly fantastic and are simply beautiful because they are classic, pure and fresh.

For the first set up, I pulled a precious hand knitted bonnet and soft, textured knit blanket. Little Luca is posed in many different styles and looks so sweet, cozy and precious! Classic and natural newborn photography is the heart of my portraiture brand because it is timeless. By minimizing distracting props and themes, true characteristics are showcased and nothing detracts from these sweet babes.
ALL THINGS EARTH TONES FOR SWEET BABY LUCA
Earth tones are a color scheme that draws from a color palette of browns, whites, greys and greens, blues, ambers and tans. The colors in an earth tone scheme are muted and flat, emulating the natural colors found in soil, moss, trees and rocks. Earth tone colors come from natural things around us: brown soil, green leaves, blue sky, white clouds, as well as the amber sun. This nature-inspired color palette creates classic and timeless newborn portraiture.

When working with these little earth-side cherubs, I adore when their hands and feet are posed so sweetly! Luca's skin is completely gorgeous, too! In order to achieve natural newborn photography, it does take a bit of time and patience to make sure baby and comfortable and relaxed, but it is well worth the time for these keepsake photos. Baby's are the epitome of innocence and their images should look serene and effortless.
GORGEOUS, RICH BROWNS AND NATURAL TEXTURES
This adorable fur bonnet, cane basket and wooden beads are a few of the new props I have in my studio. For this earth tone inspired session, the cappuccino color felt classic - the perfect compliment to the natural styling of this sweet baby boy. The soft brown makes Luca's skin look super creamy and buttery! The taupe faux flokati rug is one of the many earth shades you'll find in my studio as I love incorporating all these different layers. This chunky knit blanket and adorable fur bonnet are also the perfect blend of softness so baby looks like he’s nestled perfectly into a little cocoon!
