There’s something undeniably special about December at the tree farm. The crisp air, evergreen rows dusted with snow, and the quiet magic that only this season seems to bring. This session felt like all of that—and more.
I met this sweet family surrounded by towering evergreens, cozy layers, and the kind of light that only winter can offer. From the moment we started shooting, it was clear this wasn’t just a holiday session—it was a celebration of a season of life they’ll always remember.

Baby’s First Christmas
At the heart of this session was their little one, experiencing his very first Christmas. Wrapped in soft neutrals and cozy textures, he took it all in—the lights, the trees, the snuggles from mom and dad. Those quiet moments, when he looked up with wide eyes or nestled in close, are the ones parents will look back on years from now and feel all over again.
There’s something so powerful about photographing firsts. First holidays. First traditions. First memories as a family of three.
Effortless, Cozy Style
One of my favorite parts of this session was how beautifully everything came together—soft beige tones, subtle plaids, and textures that felt both elevated and relaxed. Nothing felt overdone. Just intentional, timeless styling that allowed their connection to shine.
Tree farm sessions are perfect for this kind of look. The natural greens, pops of red, and winter whites create a backdrop that feels festive without being overly themed—making these images just as meaningful years down the road.

As snow lined the paths and lights twinkled in the background, we captured moments that felt both joyful and calm. Laughter between mom and dad. Gentle kisses on tiny cheeks. The way dad held his baby close, and the way mom’s smile softened every time she looked at them.
These are the moments that matter most. The in-between glances, the quiet snuggles, the love that doesn’t need direction.
