HI, I’M KATE!
As a mother to a one and two year old, I know firsthand that these days may be long, but the years are so very short! I feel that familiar concern that us mamas have, concern that I’ll forget what this time in our life is like, all the intimate, little moments. While I’ve been photographing lovely families and their littles for over 6 years, it was when I became a mother myself that I truly began to appreciate the beauty that is motherhood and those everyday moments, capturing the giggles, snuggles, and sweet smiles.

I'm a mama to a smart, free-spirited, and adventurous little girl, Eloise (El). My sweet baby boy, Emerson (Em), is obsessed with all things mama. Fun fact, they share the same birthday one year apart! These babies are my world and my motivation in all that I do.
My children’s first steps were milestones for sure, but it was those tender, intimate moments that I wanted to ensure wouldn’t be lost in the chaos of our daily lives. These little moments, the ones that you didn’t even realize until they had passed because you were so fully present, breathing in their beauty. These are the images that I want to adorn the walls of my home and my heart for years to come, and I would love to do the same for you!
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
NATURAL, SIMPLE, ORGANIC, LIGHT, AIRY, TIMELESS
Photography is an art, and as with any art, evvery photographer has their own style driven by their creativity, their “eye”, and their passion. Most people assume that editing determines a photographer’s style, but the time of day, the location, the use of light, and the camera settings all factor in to create my artistic vision. Editing is simply an enhancer to the image that was created in the camera.
Over the last 7 years, I’ve really come into my own style that is very true to me. I love a mix of classic and modern elements. I love for photos to look timeless, yet fresh and modern, so that years from now you will still love them as much as you do today. I like calmness and peacefulness in my images to keep the emphasis and focus on my clients and their emotions, using simplicity in styling, lighting and wardrobe to achieve that.
